APPROVAL OF ARCHITECT/ENGINEER RANKINGS FOR THE FRUITVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-CLASSROOM WING ADDITION PROJECT
Description
The projects scope of work shall include architectural services for the construction of an approximately 20,000 square foot classroom addition, mechanical upgrades to chiller yard, site drainage and bus loop improvements. The project will be multi-phased. On 5/15/2014, the Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC) met to select an architect/engineer for this project. The PSSC has ranked them in accordance with Board policy. The project is approximately $6,500,000.00. Funds for this project are available in the capital budge account.
Recommendation
That the rankings of architect/engineers for the Fruitville Elementary School-Classroom Wing Addition project be accepted as presented and the Director of Construction Services be authorized to attempt negotiations with the top-ranked firm.
